Folks summer is here, so we have decided to check out a fun spot for summer photos. For the seventh walk we start taking summer photos by heading to McKinney Falls State Park! You are welcome morning folks!
Meet and walk location: McKinney Falls State Park [5808 McKinney Falls Pkwy, Austin, TX 78744]
Lunch location: Hai Ky [1931 E Oltorf St Ste B, Austin, TX 78741]. Check out the Hai Ky Menu
When: 8:00 am for walking on Saturday July 6, 2019
What: Socialize, Take photos, share photos! Walk until 11:00 am. The plan is to meet up at McKinney Falls State Park at 8:00 am, we will grab a group photo and head out for the walk. There will be lots of nature so bring those macro lenses along and there should be good people watching as well. The plan is to head to lunch at about 11:15am to beat the lunch crowds.
Why: Community! We are headed to hang out at McKinney Falls State Park. Please dress layered as it may be cool and then warm up.
How: RECOMMENDED: Bring Tripod, camera, off camera flash, creativity. Socialize when you come. Share photo ideas on the walk. You can also share online in the flickr group at http://www.flickr.com/groups/photowalksatx/. If you are not a member yet, just request membership. There is also a facebook community at Photowalks ATX community that you may request membership to. Also subscribe to the email list to get the email notifications in your box for the next walk!
To fully participate please make sure to be properly hydrated, dress appropriately too, wear comfortable walking shoes, talk to someone you do not already know.

Where will we meet at McKinney Falls State Park? McKinney Falls is a huge place (close to 1 1/4 sq miles), so it is easy to miss people for the photo op.
The plan is for us to gather at the entry and then head out from there after we have a group photo!
I will be going. It looks at this point that it will be a beautiful day. I just hope that the rain doesn’t come back.

Simi, I am going to bow out of tomorrow. I over stretched trying to get a pencil off of the floor yesterday and while the doctor says that I did not hurt myself, I do feel the muscular pain. I don’t want to take a chance of doing any damage to my back.
