{january 2020 photowalk announcement}

We are headed back to a familiar space for photos this time in the evening to see what we can capture. For the first walk of the decade we will be returning to St. Edwards University at night! You are welcome evening folks!

Meet & Dinner location: Cabo Bob’s Burritos {500 E Ben White Blvd SUITE D-100, Austin, TX 78704}
Walk location: St. Edwards University – Main Building {3001 S Congress Ave, Austin, TX 78704}
Parking location options: Visitor parking on campus or pay to park.
When: 6:00 pm for dinner Friday January 3, 2020; 7:00pm for the walk.
What: Socialize, Take photos, share photos! Walk until 9:00 pm. The plan is to meet up at Cabo Bob’s at 6:00 pm for dinner, where we will grab dinner. The group photo will be taken at St. Edwards at about 7:00 pm and we’ll head out for the walk right after. At about 9:00 pm we will wrap up the walk and leave St. Edwards. There will be lots of people, architecture, nature, and street photography so bring those wide angle lenses along and macro lenses too. Don’t forget your tripod!
Why: Community! We are headed to hang out around St. Edwards and capture what we see. Please dress layered as it may be warm and then cool down.
How: RECOMMENDED: Bring Tripod, camera, off camera flash, creativity. Socialize when you come. Share photo ideas on the walk. You can also share online in the flickr group at http://www.flickr.com/groups/photowalksatx/. If you are not a member yet, just request membership. There is also a facebook community at Photowalks ATX community that you may request membership to. Also subscribe to the email list to get the email notifications in your box for the next walk!

To fully participate please make sure to be properly hydrated, dress appropriately too, wear comfortable walking shoes, talk to someone you do not already know.
