Hi folks, it’s a new year… woohoo! To start out the year, let’s take a look at a little town close to Austin. We are headed north of Austin to Georgetown, TX.
The plan is to get to Georgetown by 8:00 am on Saturday morning and just take in the sights and sounds. I hear there is a little of everything in downtown Georgetown: architecture, people, good eats, fun shapes… Come join us and explore downtown Georgetown, TX.
Parking location: Street Parking is available.
Lunch location: Monument Cafe – 500 S Austin Ave, Georgetown, TX 78626
Meeting location: Downtown Georgetown Association – 103 W 7th St, Georgetown, TX 78626
When: 8:00 am on Saturday January 16, 2016
What: Socialize, Take photos, share photos! Walk until 10:30 am. Meet up at Downtown Georgetown Association and take in the sites on the photo walk then headout around 10:30 am to have lunch, hangout and share photos at Monument Cafe.
Why: Community! We are headed to check out downtown Georgetown. We are going to checkout the most beautiful square in Texas. Please dress warmly as it will be cold.
How: RECOMMENDED: Bring Tripod, camera, off camera flash, creativity. Socialize by coming. Stay and share a meal and pass cameras around to see photos. You can also share online in the flickr group at http://www.flickr.com/groups/photowalksatx/. If you are not a member yet, just request membership. There is also a google community at Photowalks ATX community that you may request membership to.
To fully participate please make sure to be properly hydrated, dress appropriately too, wear comfortable walking shoes, talk to someone you do not already know.
