All the beach people let out sigh of contentment.
It was a brisk day not too cold and perfect for a long walk. The ocean water smell was in the air!
This was the last leg of my trip. It was an opportune time to explore the city in the early afternoon. I took the scenic route and walked all the way to my evening appointment to meet friends. The best part was the walk trail being to the ocean. I got all the benefits of this walk definitely.
This stop was by the Old Brewery and Riverside Brewhouse. There was a really really old pier that had a sign that said something to the effect of “Step on at your own risk”.
The scene was quite humorous. Sitting quietly enjoying her book as she ate her lunch to the right of the frame was a lady. As you can see in the image beside her was a very patiently persevering seagull determined to be acknowledged and fed by the lady.
The unfolding story was definitely hilarious. The goal initially was to capture the seagull close up, and then back up to capture the seagull and the lady as she read. In the process of capturing the seagull sitting quietly waiting for a feeding. I captured the seagull snatching a bee right out of the air for lunch.
Tickled at the timing of the capture, I promptly forgot the plan. I was grinning from ear to ear!
God-moment: I got a better capture with His help than I could have on my own
It was a God-moment, when I got a better capture with His help than I could get on my own. It was a simple but very profound gift!
