{august 2019 photowalk announcement}

With summer in full force we have decided to use the cover of night to cool the temperature down for the next photowalk. For the eighth walk we will be enjoying some night photography at the Blanton Museum of Art! You are welcome evening folks!

Meet location: Blanton Museum of Art, 200 East Martin Luther King Junior Boulevard, Austin, TX 78712. Meet at the corner of Congress and MLK between the art shop and the museum.
Dinner location: We can walk to the Wendy’s close to the Blanton to pick up something fast to eat OR please bring your choice of food as we can sit out by the Blanton and eat before we head out for the walk at about 7:15 pm.
When: 6:00 pm for walking on Friday August 2, 2019
What: Socialize, Take photos, share photos! Walk until 9:00 pm. The plan is to meet up at Blanton Museum of Art at 6:00 pm, we will grab a group photo and head out for the walk. There will be lots of architecture and street photography so bring those wide angle lenses along. The plan is to head out for the photowalk at 7:00pm after the group photo.
Why: Community! We are headed to hang out around Blanton Museum of Art on the The University of Texas at Austin. Please dress layered as it may be warm and then cool down.
How: RECOMMENDED: Bring Tripod, camera, off camera flash, creativity. Socialize when you come. Share photo ideas on the walk. You can also share online in the flickr group at http://www.flickr.com/groups/photowalksatx/. If you are not a member yet, just request membership. There is also a facebook community at Photowalks ATX community that you may request membership to. Also subscribe to the email list to get the email notifications in your box for the next walk!

To fully participate please make sure to be properly hydrated, dress appropriately too, wear comfortable walking shoes, talk to someone you do not already know.
