For our next photo walk we will be headed downtown for the Republic Of Texas Rally! We will be meeting in front of Austin City Hall. The goal will be to head to congress to get a good spot to watch the biker procession from 100-1200 Congress. From Cesar Chavez up to the captiol and also get some of the happenings.
Parking locations: City Hall parking. Please note that downtown might be congested! You can also take the bus or train into downtown to avoid having to deal with parking!
Meet location: Meet in front of Austin City Hall
When: 6 pm on Friday June 13, 2014
What: Socialize, Take photos, share photos! Walk until 9:30am.
Why: Community!
How: RECOMMENDED: Bring Tripod, camera, off camera flash, creativity. Socialize by coming. Stay and share a meal and pass cameras around to see photos. You can also share online in the flickr group at http://www.flickr.com/groups/photowalksatx/. If you are not a member yet, just request membership. There is also a google community at Photowalks ATX community that you may request membership to.
To fully participate please make sure to be properly hydrated, dress warmly too, wear comfortable walking shoes, talk to someone you do not already know.
